Article of www.azcentral.com: One wonders if the UFC titel belts are made out of poisonous lead. Anderson Silva (above), the UFC's middleweight champ, like heavyweight champ Brock Lesnar before him, has bowed out of his next title defense. Silva, according to mmajunkie.com, had bone chips removed from his right elbow in October, and the joint has reportedly proved slow to heal. Silva will not fight Vitor Belfort on Feb. 6 in UFC 109 and reportedly likely won't be ready to fight until April. The two were supposed to fight on Jan. 2 at UFC 108 but that was also pushed because of Silva's injured elbow. What now for the UFC? How is the UFC going to stay relevant in the early part of 2010 with two of its biggest stars out for a while? Sound off below.

Article of www.bestmmatorrents.com: Machida: “I thought it was a very even and tough fight. I had the opportunity to see the fight again and I thought I won four rounds and Shogun took the last one. Some people say he won the fourth and fifth round, but for sure I won at least the first three rounds. The American commentators were pretty much biased. If you see the fight without audio, you will probably see a different fight. Shogun was a great opponent and had a nice strategy. He deserves all my respect as a fighter, but I was superior. I had three or four chances to finish the fight, and he never put me in danger. I didn’t get (dazed) at any moment of the fight, but I put him in danger three or four times...

Article of sports.espn.go.com: Posted by Jake Rossen/Sherdog.com - The headliner fight during the weekend of Sept. 19 isn't in boxing, and it isn't Vitor Belfort against Rich Franklin, either. It's the hammering that's going to result in one combat sport outdrawing the other.
